Cardiologist Dr. Jack Wolfson shares his five favorite ways to boost thyroid function naturally.

Thyroid and heart health, as I’ve talked about before, is extremely important to make sure that we have a functioning thyroid to go along with a healthy heart.
The whole body is interconnected. From the brain to the body, body back to the brain, all the organs in between, so we want to make sure that we have a healthy thyroid to lead to a healthy heart.
And I want to give you five strategies to maintain that healthy thyroid that maybe you haven’t thought of before.
Number one, get that thyroid in the sun. Of course, we’re not talking about the actual thyroid, we’re talking about the skin above the thyroid. Get that neck in the sun. Let the energy from the sun come in and charge up the that thyroid gland and you will reap tremendous benefits from it.
Number two, make sure you get sleep. You’ve got to get adequate sleep in order to have healthy thyroid function. Sleep is critical for everything. Our ancestors went to sleep with the sundown and awoke with the sunrise. You should do the same.
Number three, physical activity. Physical activity just charges up the body, gives you the cleansing, gives you the circulation, gives you the detoxification to make sure that we’re giving you the nutrients you need to make your thyroid function adequately.
Number four of course is to make sure you that are eating the right foods. And I’m going to do a separate video on the top five foods to boost up your thyroid.
And finally, number five, get the stress out of your life. Stress is horrible for adrenal and thyroid function. Get the stress out of your life today and get all those benefits.
